4xGMPR Cruz's Magic Koda
We made it! An APLA "4x Grand Master Pointing Retriever". A bump in the road in 2018 took us out of the hunt test game. 2019 turned out to be a "learning year" for him and I, and fall of 2020 was good to us. 8 trips to the Master upland field, 8 passes. No breaks in the upland, and he is STEADY to shot and fall with NOT a single whistle sit. A true "Pointing Labrador". Exceptional pedigree with his sire being 4xGMPR Lakotas Hurricane Cruz MH and dam TDK's Blue Hunter Rose Lady Jasmine, CP. He does not carry yellow, and would make an excellent stud for those looking for chocolates. Koda's AKC registration number is SR94741402.
CPR Da-Koda High Sierra
That same bump in the road in 2018 also kept us from where we wanted to be with Sierra. We're working and making progress. We did earn her Certified Pointing Retriever title in the fall of 2020. Great pedigree with 4xGMPR Wyatt the Swindler of HPK's SH as her sire and KB's one Hot Tiger Lily JH the dam. She is a firecracker when it comes to drive, but a heart of gold. She also carries no yellow factor. Sierra's AKC registration number is SS01028705
APR Da-Koda High Wyatt's Breezy Tango
Tango is our handsome young athlete. He's on deck and getting ready to show his stuff! We were really excited to get a puppy from this breeder. Also sired by 4xGMPR Wyatt the Swindler of HPK's SH, his dam is 4xGMPR Frosty Breeze of Lockdown Labs. He is certain to become a rock star in time. He has earned in APR title, and we're getting ready for Spring and fall of 2023! Tango's AKC registration number is SS04158403. Tango is yellow factored.
CPR Da-Koda High Sierra's Zulu
This is our baby Zulu. She is out of our first litter, Koda and Sierra. By parentage, she also will not carry the yellow factor. See her picture in the photo gallery, on point at 8 weeks, as all the puppies in that litter were when exposed to their first chukar. Her siblings have gone to awesome homes. Don't be surprised to hear of spectacular hunting and hunt test dogs in the near future with names of Sage, Bailey, Ki and Knox!
APR Twisted Creek's Super Nova
The newest member of the kennel is Nova. Titled as an Advanced Pointing Retriever in the APLA, we're preparing her for her run at MPR, GMPR and more! Incredible mild temperament, this dog is a lover when inside, but don't let that fool you! She has an incredible motor, whether training or in the field. She loves the upland and is a pointing machine! She is out of 4xGMPR HRCH Baier's Mighty Paw Patrol Zuma MH and CPR Kell's Big Nose Kate. Good things in Nova's future.
CPR Da-Koda High's New REO Delta
The newest member of the kennel is Delta. We have high hopes for this little girl. She is out of 4xGMPR HRK'S High Flyin Maverick and our APR Twisted Creek's Super Nova. We deviated from our chocolate palette and kept this Tri-Factored black female. Great things in Delta's future! She may be the smartest, most eager to learn dog I have been around.
